Nothing gets me going more than listening to Gregg Michael Gillis (better known as Girl Talk) dork out about how he samples 400 tracks in just one live show.

His “port-a-potty” lifestyle doesn’t stop Gillis from producing (no longer “Illegal”) art. Still, if you ever wondered why it seems like forever since a new Girl Talk album was released (I have!), it’s because to use so many digital samplings  requires two years between each.
