If you are not familiar with Nick Hook, he started the group Cubic Zirconia. In this video, he dives into the Novation Impulse 61 music software controller, making it the new hub for his studio. He also has Impulse linked up to Ableton Live and his 909. Nick is able to program beats, play parts quickly, tweak plug-ins and trigger clips, all from that controller.
