David Guetta Tops Michael Jackson In Longest-Charting Dance Hit

Move over Michael, for a new king may about to be crowned. In its 28th week on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play songs chart, celebrity DJ/producer David Guetta’s “Titanium” (featuring Sia) has become the ranking’s longest-running title in nearly 29 years, passing Darude’s “Sandstorm,” which had ranked 27 weeks. The last title to spend more on the tally? Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album, which completed a 36-week run in August 1983.
