Reigning trance trio Above & Beyond have handed the reigns to two of the most accomplished and innovative producers in underground trance for the latest instalment of the Anjunabeats Worldwide series, with Maor Levi and Nitrous Oxide laying down two discs of cutting-edge euphoria, an ideal purchase for anyone keen for some seriously upfront tunes.

Maor Levi originally hails from Israel and has been part of Above & Beyond’s famous Anjunabeats label for many years, but he’s been incredibly prolific the past year in particular. On the first disc he showcases his groundbreaking sound – full of grindy basslines and bottom-heavy house grooves, he packs no less than four of his hot productions onto his mix, as well as fresh tracks from Californian newcomers Norin & Rad, UK prodigy Mat Zo and many more.

Polish euphoric trance specialist Nitrous Oxide has been no less prolific in recent years, and here delivers a more straightforward disc of uplifting turbo-charged excellence. Beating out Maor Levi by packing a whopping six of his own productions onto his mix, his innovative approach is in full force here. Roaring tracks like Gr8! are packed with uplifting melodies, but also plenty of bass-driven energy, twists and turns and exciting surprises.
