TIM MASON ANNOUNCES ‘ROLL CALL’ TOUR & REMIXES FOR TIMBALAND, RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS, AOKI & MORE

From just two singles and a slew of remixes, British DJ/producer Tim Mason has quickly become one of global clubland’s most in demand new figures. His forthcoming Roll Call tour is testament to this with over 20 dates for his North American debut visit, including shows in New York, LA, Miami, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, San Francisco and many more (full list below).

Mason’s first two releases  earned him champions such as Steve Angello (who signed both to his Size label) and his fellow Swedes, Laidback Luke, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Guetta, Erick Morillo and club kids across the world. ‘The Moment’ went on to become one of Beatport’s biggest sellers of 2011 and led to remix requests for Moby, Guetta, and PNAU. The follow-up single, “Anima”, did even better, confirming his presence as one of the UK’s strongest production talents.

2011 fast became a whirlwind. Tim’s DJ gigs suddenly went from mates after-parties to being booked at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Cobra, Tabu, Kapital and closing the Swedish House Mafia tent at Creamfields. He spent his New Year’s playing shows across the world, linking sets between India and Canada (eg each set followed the previous one, with no repeats), and releasing them on Soundcloud. Elektro loves his remix below of Zedd’s “Star Come Out.”

And 2012? With Mason’s Roll Call Tour Part One about to get underway, new original material about to be released and forthcoming remixes for Timbaland, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Steve Aoki and Paul van Dyk, it’s anyone’s guess where this year will take him. Roll Call Tour Part 2 will be announced next month.
