Acclaimed spin-master, Armin van Buuren recently embarked upon a journey across five countries bringing, A State of Trance 550, to adoring fans worldwide.

The 550th episode marked the eleventh birthday of his popular radio show, with social media stats reaching new heights. Each edition broadcasted was live via A State of Trance and over on 50 global radio stations. The tour yielded, more than a million pageviews came in on the website. Social media played a big role in gaining recognition; more than half a million tweets were sent using the hash tag #ASOT550, and Armin’s Twitter and Facebook. A State of Trance fans tuned in from all across the globe, from Paraguay and Australia to Mexico, Iran, Russia, South-Africa, Egypt and beyond.
