Chris Lake is always keeping fans and music experts on their toes, with a sound that’s always changing and a personality to match. Just recently he did a gnarly, industrial collaboration with riff king John Dahlbäck in “I Saw This Before,” but now Chris takes on a more electric pop approach with the new single “Stand Alone,” with Lazy Rich.

The track’s soft opening gets a swift kick-up thanks to singer Jareth, whose unique, strong vocals helps lead the single into its mighty crescendos and trilling synths. We may not be sure what Lake’s next collaboration will be like, but at least he can rest assured that he’s stapled down a great club and poolside mix for the summer with “Stand Alone.”
