Even though I’ve heard more remixes of “Starry Eyed” and “Lights” than I can keep track of, I still think Ellie Goulding’s vocals are beautiful. The sensational British singer has the perfect voice for EDM – it’s sweet, sexy and euphonic. Tom Swoon, formerly known as Pixel Cheese, (who’s recent success has landed him a spot opening for Avicii on his European tour) has added his own flair to Goulding’s track “Hanging On”. This song starts off soft and melodic, taking the listener higher and higher with pulsing progressive chords and a very subtle dubstep breakdown that gives the track a little extra “oomph.” Overall, a really solid remix – big room sound and feel good vibes.
